From Diagnostic to Orthotic Appliances: This course introduces the fundamentals of diagnosing and treating TMJ disorders by incorporating dynamic 4D live occlusion and jaw movement recordings using Modjaw digital articulator technology.
Learn how to identify various TMJ-related conditions on CBCT scans and implement new clinical treatment protocols developed with Modjaw technology. From MRI imaging for disc disorders to CBCT imaging of osseous tissues in the joint, different treatment approaches will be explored.

Treating muscular and intracapsular disorders

Dr. Katya Archambault
Dr. Katya Archambault is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist from UCLA. She also received a Certificate in Implant Dentistry from NYU after studying for two years from 2007 to 2009. She got her dental degree from Laval University and did a Certificate in Microbiology at that same university. She owns the private practice San Diego Dental Health Center in La Jolla California. She also has an appointment at UCSD as a clinical instructor within the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology. Her clinical interests are in Pathophysiology and Radiologic interpretation of the Maxillofacial Complex, Maxillofacial Radiology, Sleep Apnea, and Airway Evaluation, TMJ, Soft and Hard tissue reconstructive Surgery, implantology and navigation procedures. She is an international lecturer, published into journals and received several awards over the years. Dr. Archambault is also a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Academy of Osteointegration and International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Ricardo Domingues
With two decades of experience as a Certified Dental Technician, Ricardo Domingues has held key roles in digital dentistry, including Director of Digital Dentistry at Aurum Group and a founding team member of the Face4D project. Until December 2024, he served as Global Digital Advisor for Modjaw SAS, representing the company worldwide through lectures and training.
As the proud co-founder of DENTOCAD Digital Dental Artistry, established in August 2014, he has been dedicated to advancing digital protocols in dental clinics and laboratories. He is also a Portuguese member of the Digital Dentistry Society and has been an instructor for the Digital Dental Craftsmen Group since 2020. Currently working as a freelance Digital Technical Advisor, Ricardo continues to contribute to various digital dentistry projects. His focus remains on research and development of equipment and workflows that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in digital dental practice.
